Exodus 23:25

‘But you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and water; and I will remove sickness from your midst.’

Daniel Chapter 1 – The account of Daniel and his friends holding fast to their faith, staying true to the Lord while in captivity in the land of Babylon, is a testament to the blessings God desires to bestow upon those that follow Him.  On top of receiving health, wisdom and understanding in all matters, Daniel was given the gift of prophecy.  Daniel uses this gift in Daniel chapter 2 when he interprets the dream of Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon.  The dream foreshadows kingdoms that will rise and fall until the return of Jesus Christ!
